Our Process
Since 1997, Jorge Kurczyn has handcrafted solid wood saddle stands, saddle racks, and western furniture with distinctive designs and a strong western character.
Our mission is to help your saddle remain in proper condition by supporting it correctly, keeping it straight, and preventing it from rolling or losing shape while displayed or stored.
What sets our craftsmen apart is that they are not only woodworkers. They also understand saddle repair and saddle construction, giving them the knowledge needed to preserve each saddle’s form and design.

We work directly with clients to create custom saddle stands and metal saddle racks that incorporate personal ideas, preferred materials, and individual design details.
You can choose wood, iron, copper, finishes, dimensions, and decorative elements. During the process, we can share photos, drawings, text updates, or arrange a FaceTime call for review and approval.

Once the design is approved, our designers and craftsmen guide the piece through production from start to finish.
Assembly is followed by careful fine tuning, staining, and finishing. Our stains and polyurethanes are selected to withstand use while keeping the saddle stand safe, durable, and beautiful.

We specialize in many categories of saddle stands and saddle racks, including Western, English, and Spanish styles.
Size, height, weight requirements, and saddle type can all be considered so the final piece properly supports the saddle it was made for.

Jorge Kurczyn works with in-house blacksmiths and copper artisans who create hand-forged hardware and decorative copper details with careful attention to proportion, finish, and personality.
