Jorge Kurczyn, designer and craftsman behind Saddle Stands

The Story

The craftsman behind Saddle Stands.

Jorge Kurczyn is a western furniture designer and manufacturer whose work has been embraced by the western community worldwide.

His years of experience around Hacienda furniture, horses, saddles, and tack gave him a deep understanding of how meaningful a saddle can be, especially when it carries family history, memories, or personal value.

He began designing saddle stands to accommodate the saddles and bridles at Hacienda Santa Klara. What started as a practical solution soon became a distinctive line of furniture-quality saddle stands.

01

Hacienda Santa Klara

Jorge’s design language comes from ranch life, solid Hacienda furniture, horses, and traditional western craftsmanship.

02

The Casero Saddle Stand

In 1997, Jorge introduced the Casero Saddle Stand. “Casero” means “home” in Spanish, reflecting its furniture-quality construction and elegant presence.

03

King Ranch Legacy

The Casero Saddle Stand was introduced to the King Ranch Saddle Shop in Texas, where copper panels and hand-tooled western details helped shape what became known as the “Running W” King Ranch Saddle Stand.

04

Western Craftsmanship Today

The legacy continues through custom saddle stands, saddle racks, and western furniture designed to preserve, display, and honor each saddle.

A saddle stand should protect the saddle, preserve its shape, and be worthy of the craftsmanship it supports.
