Handcrafted Western Saddle Stands

Before the 1990s, saddle racks served a simple purpose. They were functional steel structures commonly purchased at local ranch stores and placed in barns and tack rooms, designed to hold saddles when they were not being used. Practical and inexpensive, they were rarely considered part of a home's décor.

That changed when Jorge Kurczyn of Hacienda Santa Klara created an elegant wooden saddle stand for a tack room. Once the saddle was placed on the stand, he realized that it not only enhanced the space, but also had the potential to become an attractive element within a home or living environment.

A saddle represents memories, achievements, traditions, and personal history. It deserves more than storage in a barn.

Jorge envisioned a new kind of furniture piece. One that would not only support a saddle correctly, but also display it proudly as a focal point within a home, living space, or office.

Not satisfied with the term saddle rack, Jorge began referring to his creation as a saddle stand, a name that better reflected its craftsmanship, elegance, and purpose.

The term Saddle Stand was born.

Focusing on interior design and western heritage, the idea evolved into the original Casero Saddle Stand, the first elegant indoor saddle stand designed to showcase both the saddle and the memories attached to it.

Today, saddle stands are recognized throughout the western community. What began as a simple idea became a new way to display, preserve, and admire a saddle.
